DESCRIPTION:Lanternmaking Workshops at Spontaneous Celebrations (45 Danforth St.) this week!   \n\n\n\nTuesday\, Wednesday and Thursday we’ll be ‘under the tent’ (weather permitting) starting at 4pm and staying at least ’till 7 pm –  but hopefully longer if there is an interest.  \n\n\n\nWe also welcome contributions of food\, so people who come right after work will have something to eat! \n\n\n\nPlease note that we always need people to volunteer on the days of the event (Oct. 23 & 24). We are hoping to station people around the pond with cider\, lanterns\, extra candles and lighters! If you know any musicians\, please invite them to participate and play their instrument (acoustically). \n\n\n\nPlease spread the word to people you know to make this a beautiful\, safe event.If you have questions email femke@spontaneouscelebrations.org

Curley students and their caregivers\, along with various Curley staff and local government officials\, will be walking from two starting points less than three quarters of a mile from the school to show support for making our streets safer for children and other community members to navigate our neighborhoods by foot. Please meet us at 7:45 am at either of the following locations:  South Street and Sedgwick Street\, or Spring Park Ave and Chestnut Ave. \n\n\n\nRegister for the walk ahead of time\, or just show up at 7:45 am \n\n\n\nEl miércoles 6 de octubre\, Curley participará en el Día de caminata a la escuela de otoño.
