Paw Prints – March 14
We are thrilled to welcome our students in grades 4-8 back this week for hybrid learning! Students in Cohort A (Monday/Tuesday) will start on Monday, March 15th and students in Cohort B (Thursday/Friday) will start on Thursday, March 18th.
5 Day Return Survey: DESE announced this past week that all schools need to open for 5 day per week in person in the coming weeks. BPS is working on a timeline and a plan for this to happen and we need your help. On Monday, March 15th a survey will be sent to all families and they will have one week to complete it. One survey must be filled out for each child. Please check your junk/spam mail if you do not see the survey in your inbox. They will be given two options to choose from:
- Option 1: IN-PERSON. If you select this option, your child will learn in-person five days a week.
- Option 2: FULLY REMOTE. If you select this option, your child will participate in remote learning five days a week.
At this time we do not have an exact date for a 5 day return for students. Once we have this family data as a school community we can plan around what this means for our operational and instructional plans. We will hold family meetings once we have information to share regarding new safety protocols and reopening plans but this may not be for a few more weeks. We will give a weekly update here as information comes our way.
Hiring Help: We are launching our hiring process for next year and we would love your help! There is no interview experience necessary and this is a great opportunity to help us recruit the best educators to join our team. We value family feedback in our hiring process. Please reach out to the admin lead to participate.
