MCAS Testing

Beginning March 25th, we will start the MCAS testing/A partir del 25 de marzo, comenzaremos las pruebas MCAS.

We want to remind families that we are starting promptly at 8:35 am. School starts at 8:15 am, and students should come early to have breakfast and participate in Homeroom. Potluck and Paint Night: Thank you to the families who made it out to our last Potluck and Paint Night of the year. It was great to see so many families gathered and so many great art works created.

Spirit Week:

The Unified Student Government has organized Spirit Week for our Curley Community./ El Gobierno Estudiantil Unificado ha organizado la Semana del Espíritu para nuestra Comunidad de Curley.

Parent Winter Social:

Thank you to all the families who showed up and supported the parent winter social. It was a great success!/Gracias a todas las familias que asistieron y apoyaron el encuentro social de invierno para padres. ¡Fue un gran éxito!

Annual Appeal Thank you Letter

Curley Perfomance Arts:

The Curley School, will present Annie KIDS on April 10th and 11 at 9:30 a.m. (student show), and April 11th at 6:00 pm for the community. All performances will be in the Curley Auditorium, 493 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA, 02130. Schoolyard Improvement Committee/Comité de Mejora del Patio Escolar

The Curley Schoolyard Improvement Committee recently lost some of our core leadership. We need people to join and help lead this important group so that we can continue to care for the Curley outdoor campus effectively. Our work falls into two categories:/El Comité de Mejora del Patio Escolar de Curley recientemente perdió parte de nuestro liderazgo principal. Necesitamos personas que se unan y ayuden a dirigir este importante grupo para poder seguir cuidando eficazmente el campus exterior de Curley. Nuestro trabajo se divide en dos categorías:

Maintenance of the grounds: we always hold schoolyard cleanups in the spring and fall;
Generating new ideas for improving the space. We can use people who enjoy working outdoors – e.g. planting, pruning, landscaping – and also people who are just good at leading, planning, and organizing.

PEAKING INTO THE CURLEY
