GET INVOLVED @ THE CURLEY

PEAKING INTO THE CURLEY

Curley Running Club Cruises Through Global Running Day!

25 students from the first-ever Curley Running Club ran a combined 22.5 miles to celebrate the end of their spring session with a huge accomplishment! The Curley student runners took part in a celebration of Global Running Day by completing a 10-minute lap challenge at the Stony Brook Field on the Southwest Corridor in Jamaica Plain on Wednesday, June 5. Students trained diligently for nine weeks between April 1 and June 5 building stamina, resilience and teamwork along the way. We are so proud of our student runners and hope to see them running again next year!

A huge thanks to our coaches: Adam MarksGeju BrownLiza Berkowitz-Mazo and Dominique McKenney and of course Erika Mercado who helped pull it together behind-the scenes. Thanks also to our parent volunteers Michele Lepietre and Corey Bisceglia-Kane who stepped up and stepped in to help keep our runner motivated and moving.

Fun Run:

Thank you all for participating in the fun run and for your efforts in raising money. Your enthusiasm and generosity have made a real difference, and it was wonderful to see the students having such a great time.
