​Join the Spring 2025 Curley Running Club!
​Ready! Set! … Go Curley! We will be hosting our third educator-coached running club this Spring! Beginning on Monday, March 31 and ending on Global Running Day, Wednesday, June 4 the club is open to ALL students in Grades 1, 2, and 3 (regardless of enrollment in CASP). If your child has a desire to improve their physical and mental health through exercise and wants to learn more about running for stamina, not just tag, please join us. Important Notes:

  • The club will be limited to 30 students. Students that can attend both Mondays and Wednesdays will be given preference in the event the club is overenrolled.
  • Running shoes will only be provided for students with 90%+ attendance for the first six weeks.)
  • Students should be ready to listen to and follow instructions from coaches, actively participate in all warm-up, cool down, team-building, goal setting and progress tracking
  • Pick up for CASP students will follow the usual process. Pick up for non-CASP students are on time from the Curley track, OR CASP students are picked up from CASP as usual.

Help Support the Mozart Park Redesign!​

A Curley Alumni is currently working with Hyde Square Task Force on a major project to redesign Mozart Park in Jamaica Plain, and they need our help! The park is used by students from the Curley, Hennigan, and other schools in the area, and its redesign is vital for the community.

The City of Boston has provided an opportunity to win $1 million for the construction of a brand-new park, and your vote can make a difference!

What an incredible performance our students delivered for our Black History Month Celebration! Their dedication and hard work truly shined, showcasing not only their talent but also the spirit of our vibrant Curley community. The event was a beautiful and inclusive celebration of culture, history, and unity. A heartfelt thank you to our Performing Arts Department for their unwavering commitment and effort in making this event so memorable.// ¡Qué increíble presentación ofrecieron nuestros estudiantes en nuestra celebración del Mes de la Historia Negra! Su dedicación y esfuerzo brillaron de verdad, mostrando no solo su talento, sino también el espíritu de nuestra vibrante comunidad Curley. We are thrilled to welcome back THE SCHOOL STORE for our students in grades 3-8, which rewards students for following school expectations. The school store will open on Wednesday, October 16th, and continue on Wednesdays for all grades. / ¡Estamos emocionados de dar la bienvenida nuevamente a LA TIENDA ESCOLAR para nuestros estudiantes de los grados 3-8, la cual recompensa a los estudiantes por seguir las expectativas de la escuela! SUMMER RESOURCES

YES- Outdoor Adventure Summer Camp Applications​

Our application for Outdoor Adventure Summer Camp can be found here! Our Outdoor Adventure program runs in the months of July & August and offers two unique opportunities. Youth are allowed to select one of the following sessions:

Overnight Leadership Camp @ Swann Lodge (One Week Experience) – Located in the Berkshire Mountains, youth who sign up for our overnight week will head to Swann Lodge, our lodge in the Berkshires, and experience a week of exploring the natural world around them! From nighttime campfire songs to hiking Mount Greylock, overnight camp is a chance for youth to get outside the city and explore while developing crucial leadership skills. Activities will include kayaking, rock-climbing, hiking, swimming, fishing, and waterfall exploration. 

Session 1: For Youth Entering Grades 6-8 When: Monday, July 14th – Friday, July 18th

Cost: $250 – $600. Camp fees for each family are based on a sliding scale linked to household income and number of dependents. YES is also committed to providing programming in which cost is never a prohibitive factor in participating. As such, scholarships are available for families who may have trouble regarding pricing. Who: Youth currently in grades 6 to 8. 

Day Camp  – Day Camp runs out of our Boston office on Mondays through Friday. Youth are dropped off at 8:30am and are picked up by 4:00pm. From our office, youth will head around the Boston area to experience outdoor activities in their own backyard, such as rock-climbing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, and mountain biking. YES is also committed to providing programming in which cost is never a prohibitive factor in participating. As such, scholarships are available for families who may have trouble regarding pricing. We will have two sessions of Day Cam,p youth can be enrolled in:

Session 1: One Week, For Youth in Grades 2-3

When: Monday – Friday, July 21st – July 25th. Time: 8:30am – 4:00pm 

Cost: $150 – $300. Camp fees for each family are based on a sliding scale linked to household income and number of dependents. Who: Youth currently in grades 2 to 3. 

Session 2: Two Weeks, For Youth in Grades 4-5

Monday – Fridays, July 28th – August 8th. Time: 8:30am – 4:00pm 

Cost: $300 – $600. Camp fees for each family are based on a sliding scale linked to household income and number of dependents. Who: Youth currently in grades 4 to 5.

Session 3: Two Weeks, For Youth in Grades 4-5

Monday – Fridays, August 11th – August 22nd. Time: 8:30am – 4:00pm 

Cost: $300 – $600. Camp fees for each family are based on a sliding scale linked to household income and number of dependents. Who: Youth currently in grades 4 to 5.

How To Apply? Please complete this application by Friday, March 28th, 2025 to be considered for our Outdoor Adventure Summer Camp. Applications should take around 5 minutes to complete. As we have a limited number of spots, completing this application does not mean you are guaranteed a spot. Once our eligibility application closes on March 31st.

The Food Project Internship – Applications Due April 5th​

Six-week paid program (July 7- Aug 15, 2025), students aged 14 -17 youths to work with staff to grow vegetables and distribute thousands of pounds of produce. Flyer with QR code.

​The 3Point Foundation​The 3Point Foundation is hosting a FREE Summer Learning Academy from July 7, 2025, through August 8, 2025, at two locations: UMass Boston and The Fessenden School in West Newton. We would love your help in sharing this opportunity with families! The program is open to students in grades 4-7 (rising 5th-8th graders).We have launched our interest form for the 2025 Summer Learning Academy: Interest Form*** While completing this form does not guarantee a student a spot, those who submit it will be the first to receive our official application in early April.

Healthy Kids Running Series

Access to Counsel Pilot Program
The Access to Counsel Pilot program is designed to assist families facing eviction. It is a partnership among BPS, the Mayor’s Office of Housing Stability, FamilyAid Boston, and Greater Boston Legal Services. What is different now is the involvement of Greater Boston Legal Services. Therefore, when homeless liaisons check off the ‘Threat of Eviction’ referral reason on the EHIP form, FamilyAid coordinates with Greater Boston Legal Services for families to receive help navigating the eviction process and with related needs.

Urban Financial Literacy

The Urban Financial Literacy program is a comprehensive initiative designed to equip participants with essential financial knowledge and skills to achieve financial independence. Targeted towards youth and families, the program focuses on a range of critical topics that are relevant to long-term personal and financial growth.

MBTA Reduced Fare Program

MBTA’s income-eligible reduced fare program offers reduced fares to riders between the ages of 18 and 64 who are enrolled in an approved state assistance program.

Income-eligible CharlieCards can be loaded with:

  • Cash value for roughly 50% reduced one-way fares
  • $10 7-Day LinkPasses
  • $30 monthly LinkPasses

Your card can also be used to purchase reduced one-way fares and monthly passes for Commuter Rail, Ferry, and Express Bus. For more information, visit MBTA Reduced-Fare Program./
