E-blast Week 8 Annie rehearsal—-Starting on Thursday, January 18, 2024 the production after school will start meeting.

Dear Families:

My hope is that your holiday was full of joy. As we enter 2024 we will have a rehearsal on the first day back to school.
This is the week that students will begin being off book as much as is possible for what they have worked on already.

• A prompter will provide a safe environment for student actors.
• The goal is not perfection, but rather to provide rigor for our students. 
• Theater stretches everyone (including directors) in ways that will give added benefits beyond the stage.

Espero que sus vacaciones hayan estado llenas de alegría. A medida que entramos en 2024, tendremos un ensayo el primer día de regreso a clases. Esta es la semana en la que los estudiantes comenzarán a no tener libros tanto como sea posible para lo que ya han trabajado.

We will start the production after school group starting on January 18, 2024. Vamos a comenzar a reunirnos por las tardes el equipo de producción a partir del jueves, 18 de enero de 2024.

Movie Night is here—when? On January 17, 2024 from 6 to 8:30 PM the Parent Council members will host a movie night for our lovely children. What movie? TBD (to be determined), but it will be a good one. Where? in the upper school auditorium!

La Noche de Película está a la vuelta de la esquina! El 17 de enero de 2024 de 6 a 8:30 de la noche tendremos a los miembros del Consejo de Padres mostrar una película muy divertida para vuestros hijos(as). ¿Cuál película? No se ha elegido aún, pero será divertida. ¿Dónde? En el auditorio de la escuela superior Curley.

LEARN TO SKATE AT THE KELLY RINK THIS WINTER!

· 30-minute lessons are offered Saturday mornings, January 6-February 24

· 8 lessons total

· $80 season cost – full scholarships available upon request

· Skate rental during lessons included in cost – no additional equipment required

· US Figure Skating Association accredited program

· Online registration opens December 1 @ 7m

Beyond the skate lessons, $3 skate rentals are available throughout the season at the Kelly Rink. The Kelly Rink is an open-air free public rink operated by the DCR, open typically December-March (weather permitting).
